My journey with fitness started in 2010 when i found Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). All i wanted is to build up my fitness and let me explore my very competitive side. I found I thrived in the supportive and competitive environment and had my first kickboxing fight in April 2011. In August 2011, I represented New Zealand in an MMA fight in Australia. I have competed in numerous public sparring for kickboxing and MMA.
The confidence and strength I found from MMA led to my passion for training women to become more confident and stronger in themselves and I started up kickboxing fitness classes, a high intensity training program designed to deliver results specifically for women in May 2012, which lead us to opening WOF CrossFit in June 2013.
I love coaching and helping members to achieve amazing results through healthier lifestyle and positive mindset.
A good trainer helps you to build a habit you will keep for life. After all, becoming a different person means doing things which you may not be comfortable at first.

I started on my CrossFit journey in 2016 and remember one push being a real challenge. During my journey I have really came to understand how a small improvement’s over time can reap such amazing results.
As a coach, I have the opportunity to pass on this to others. I really enjoy seeing how people can accomplish what they thought was out of reach and being in a position to help them realise their potential, each small step, becomes a great stride in their well-being and confidence.
Everyone is different, and with their own challenges, I strive to help everyone fulfill the journey they are on.

My fitness journey didn’t start until late in life and I am glad I found it. I’ve become a confident, healthy and happier person.
I enjoy seeing people develop and grow in areas they felt they never would. I understand the challenges, the sweat, the pain and the level of determination required. We all have set backs and struggle to pick ourselves back up. We need to focus and set achievable goals, this helps with clarity and motivation.
Its important we reflect on our achievements and celerate our success no matter how big or small, but most importantly have fun along the way, its certainly rewarding.
I look forward to helping you become the best version of yourself.

Unlike many trainers my fitness journey started later in life. After years of unhealthy living and minimal physical activity, I became sick and tired of constantly feeling sick and tired, so I decided to turn my life around. I quickly fell in love with fitness and it became more than a passion for me but a way of life. It had such a positive impact on me that I decided I wanted to move into the fitness industry and help other people experience the kind of positive results that I had. I became a qualified CrossFit Trainer, Personal Coach and Group Fitness Instructor and have spent the last few years helping many people, from absolute beginners to seasoned athletes, realise their full potential.
Whether you want to lose weight, build strength, increase mobility, improve cardiovascular fitness, or just feel healthier and enjoy a longer, better quality life, I can help you reach your goals. I am living proof that you can make positive changes to your life, and that through conscious endeavor, anything is possible.

I really enjoy watching people exceed their own expectations and supporting them to achieve what they often think is not possible, or goals they set themselves.
The environment at WOF is incredibly supportive and I am proud to be part of the team.
I have always been involved in sport to some degree – netball, running, boxing and for the last 4 years CrossFit at WOF CrossFit. It has been my exercise, stress release, hobby, family, second home and now a passion.
I believe in consistency, alongside working hard to achieve your goals, and our coaches can help, guide and support you to achieve them no matter how big or small they are.
