I had been wanting to try CrossFit for a while and after having my 3rd child the time seemed right to get started.  At first I was terrified and very intimidated. I thought I was going to be in way over my head but I quickly realized I had been worried for no reason. Everyone at the box is so welcoming and supportive. The coaches are super helpful and the members are really friendly.
My first bright spot was probably surviving my first WOD. I didn’t puke or die, which I felt was a real possibility. This is followed closely by finally getting my first toes-to-rings. I worked really freaking hard on those for many days and when it finally happened it felt so good!
Right now I am working on getting stronger and building some awesome defined muscles. I would also love to be able to do an unassisted pull-up!
I have a few favourite memories from my time already. I really liked the the in-house comp; practicing skills leading up to it and having so many people at the box supporting each other; the friendly competition – it was all great!
