AmandaI was in a bit of a rut at the gym. I loved group fitness but I was just bored of the same old and needed a new challenge. I started looking for a bootcamp to give me a kick start and came across WOF on Facebook. I saw huge results after 2 BootCamps and was ready for a new challenge so I decided to give CrossFit a go, nearly 2 years on and I am loving it.

My first impression at WOF was amped when starting BootCamp, but naturally nervous. I remember watching the CrossFit classes as I waited for bootcamp to start and got such a buzz out of watching everyone push themselves to the end. I was super impressed by the strength in the girls and loved how the coaches and members cheered each other on. I still get that same buzz now during and after workouts.

There are so many “bright spots” to name but having my hubby come and watch me at my first individual comp I entered was pretty cool. He was so supportive leading up to it with all the extra hours I was putting into training. Sharing what I love and having him cheer me on and encourage me was something that I will never forget.

At the moment, I am 7 months pregnant with my first bub so am just working on maintaining my fitness the best I can. It definitely has its challenges but it’s also very empowering.

There are so many great memories at WOF. I recently had a surprise baby shower put on by the gorgeous WOF ladies. It was one of the kindest things that anyone has ever done for me and made me feel super grateful and lucky to be a part of such an amazing group of likeminded people.
